## Candidate

Paul Vera is a lifelong Porterville resident, a proud husband, father, and grandfather, a veteran, and someone who believes in hard work, integrity, and putting our community first. He is running for City Council because he loves this city and voters' voices deserve to be heard.

## Priorities

1. **Public safety is not optional.** Rules only matter when they are enforced. Parks, streets, and storefronts belong to the people and families who respect them. No camping in our parks. ## Why Paul Vera

I spent 31 years keeping law and order in one of the toughest environments there is. I managed public budgets bigger than Porterville's. I know how public systems work — and I will bring that discipline home to Porterville City Hall.
